Wexford lose in semi-final in 1st ever class 5 competition |

Wexford’s 4th representative in the finals were the class five squad. They had qualified for their 1st ever finals in the grade but lost out to a strong Meath team in the semi-finals on a 4-1 score-line. Wexford’s success came in the men’s doubles where Paudie Foran and Eddie Kent had an impressive victory. Class-5 Squad: Ken Furlong (St. Martin’s), Paudie Foran, Eddie Kent (Shelburne), David Ryan (Ballycogley), Olynna Dunne (Galbally), Lisa Ryan, Deirdre O’Connor (Shelburne), Helen Butler (St. Martin’s).
